止めたところからC D を聞くには

通常は演奏を止めると、次は1曲目から演
奏されますが、リジューム機能を使うと、
最後に止めたところから演奏されます。
*LIN E INやREC IN ジャックのない機器につな
ぐときは、別売りの接続コードRK-G 134を使
ってM ICジャックに接続します。
いろいろな機能を使う
マウントキット（C PM -450PC
など）を使うときは
カーマウントアダプター（マウントプレー
トに付属）をマウントプレートに取り付け
てから、ディスクマンを取り付けてくださ
い。
ご注意
低音を強調するには F
音楽に合わせて、重厚で迫力のある音で演
奏を楽しめます。
･CD を聞く前に、つないだ機器の音量を下げ
てください。思わぬ大音量が出て、スピーカ
ーを破損するおそれがあります。
･「ピッ」という操作音はLIN E O U Tジャックか
らは出力されません。

･LIN E O U Tジャックにケーブルを接続してい
るときには、本体のVO LU M E つまみでの音
量調節はできません。

･ディスクマンをダッシュボードの上に置かない

ムは働きません。

動作確認のためのピッという音を鳴らない
ようにできます。
ヘッドホン部を取りはずして、リモコン部
をワイヤード（コード付きの）リモコンと
して使うこともできます。

池、乾電池）をはずします。本体のpボタン
を押しながら、再び電源を接続します。
再び確認音が鳴るようにするには、本体電
源をはずし、pボタンを押さずに本体電源

使用上のご注意

ACパワーアダプターでご使用中は、本
機を絶対に布などでくるまないでくださ
い。本機の内部および外部の温度が上が
り、思わぬ結果が発生することがありま
す。
1 電池入れのふたを開ける。
初めてお使いになるときは、充電式電池を
充電してください。
安全のために
･ 本機に使われているレーザー光が目にあ
たると危険です。絶対にプレーヤーを分
解したりしないでください。
充電式電池はBP-D M 10（別売り）または
BP-D M 20（別売り）をお使いください。使
いかたは同じですが、充電時間、持続時間
が違いますので、お持ちの充電式電池を確
かめてお使いください。
･ 万一、異物が中に入ったときは、電源を
切り、お買い上げ店またはソニーサービ
ス窓口にご相談ください。
ヘッドホンで聞くときのご注意
･ 交通安全のために

自転車やバイク、自動車などの運転中
は、ヘッドホンは絶対に使わないでくだ
さい。歩行中でも音量を上げすぎるとま
わりの音が聞こえなくなり危険です。と
くに、踏切や横断歩道では充分にご注意
ください。

電池入れの‘’の表示に合わせて入
れ、ふたを閉める。
･ D C IN 4.5 V(外部電源）ジャックには異
物を入れないでください。

をはずしておいてください。
･ 耳を守るために

耳を刺激するような大きな音量で長時間
続けて聞くと、聴力に悪い影響を与える
ことがあります。耳を守るため、音量を
上げすぎないように注意しましょう。
A C パワーアダプターについて
･ AC-E45L/AC-E45M A（別売り、国内
用）/AC-E45H G（別売り、海外用）を
ご使用ください。これ以外のACパワー
アダプターを使用すると、故障の原因と
なることがあります。

池を入れ、ふたを閉める。

乾電池が消耗すると

雑音の多い所では、音量を上げてしまいが
ちですが、ヘッドホンで聞くときはいつも
呼びかけられて返事ができるくらいの音量
を目安にしてください。
･充電しないでください。

ぎ、約2時間(BP-D M 10の場合）ま
たは約3時間(BP-D M 20の場合）充

長い間使わないときは、出しておいてください。
･万一、液漏れしたときは、よく拭き取ってか
ら、新しい電地に入れ換えてください。

ときは、うすい中性洗剤溶液でしめらせた

本機の取り扱いについて
電源コンセントへ
･ ディスクテーブルのレンズには指を触れ
ないでください。また、ホコリがつかな
いように、ディスクの出し入れ以外はふ
たを必ず閉じておいてください。
･ 落としたり重いものを乗せたりしないで
ください。本機に強いショックを与えた
り、圧力をかけたりしないでください。
ディスクに傷がついたり、本機の故障の
原因となることがあります。
4 充電し終わって「C H G 」が消えた
ら、A C パワーアダプターをはず
す。

･ 次のような場所に置かないでください。
— 直射日光があたる場所や暖房器具の近
くなど温度が非常に高いところ。
— ダッシュボードや直射日光下で窓を閉

— 磁石やスピーカー、テレビのすぐそば
など磁気を帯びたところ。
充電式電池を長持ちさせるために、電池は
消耗してから充電してください。
ご注意
･充電時間は充電式電池の使用状態により異なり
ます。
･初めて充電するときや長時間使用しなかった後
では、充電しても通常の持続時間より短いこと
があります。何回か充放電をすると通常の状態
に戻ります。
— ホコリの多いところ。
— ぐらついた台の上や傾いたところ。
— 振動の多いところ。
･充電後、常温で使える時間の半分くらいで電池
がなくなってしまうときは、新しい充電式電池
BP-D M 20またはBP-D M 10と交換してくださ
い。これ以外の充電式電池（単3形充電式電池な
ど）は使えません。
— 風呂場など、湿気の多いところ。

with the headphone remote
commander
仕様および外観は、改良のため予告なく変更す
ることがありますが、ご了承ください。
Set the VOL (volume) control on the
headphone remote commander to MAX. Then
adjust the volume on the Discman to the level
that you want to be the maximum volume of
the headphone remote commander.
On display
• When you press ^ or ( , the total
number of tracks in the CD and the total
playing time appear for about 2 seconds.
• During play, the track number and the
elapsed playing time of the current track
appear.
• Between tracks, the time to the beginning
of the next track will appear with the “–”
indication.
• During pause, the elapsed playing time at
the current point flashes.
Notes on Handling CDs
• To keep the CD clean, handle it by its
edge.Do not touch the surface.
• Do not stick paper or tape onto the CD.
• Do not expose the CD to direct sunlight or
heat sources such as hot air ducts. Do not
leave the CD in a car parked under direct
sunlight.

Open the lid of the battery compartment.
You can play track repeatedly in normal,
INTRO PGM, shuffle or RMS (Random Music
Sensor) play modes. Repeat all the tracks or
only one track.
You can program up to 22 tracks to play in
any order you choose.
To connect your Discman to a car cassette
deck, you need the following accessories:
• Mount kit CPM-450PC/CPM-300PC
(Mount plate + Car battery cord + Car
connecting pack)

Insert two LR6 (size AA) alkaline
batteries by matching the ‘ and ’ to the
diagram inside the battery compartment

•Do not use different types of batteries together.

Using rechargeable

Charge the rechargeable battery before using
it for the first time.
You can use either BP-DM10 or BP-DM20
rechargeable battery for this unit. You can use
them in the same way, but their charging time
and battery life are different. Check the model
number of your rechargeable battery before
using.

You can lock your Discman against any

will be played.

The buttons are locked. When you press any

Open the lid of the battery compartment.

Normally, every time you stop and play,
playing starts from the beginning of the CD.
The resume play function, however, lets you
listen to from the point at which you last

until “SHUF” appears.

•Charging time varies depending on how the
rechargeable battery is used.
Disconnect the power source (AC power
adaptor, rechargeable battery or alkaline
batteries). While you press and hold down p
on the main unit, connect the power source
again. To make the beep sound again,
disconnect the power source for the main
unit, and connect it again without pressing p.
•If the battery is new or has not been used for a
long time, it may not be charged completely
until you charge and discharge it several times.
•If the battery life becomes shorter by about half,
replace it with Sony BP-DM10 or BP-DM20
rechargeable battery. Do not use any other
rechargeable battery (R6 type rechargeable
battery, etc).
Connecting to other stereo
equipment J
You can listen to the CD through other stereo
equipment, or record a CD on a cassette tape.
Refer to the instruction manual of the other
equipment for details. Before making
connections, turn off each piece of equipment.
